Petty Officer 1st Class Glen Turner, assigned to Fleet Logistic Support Squadron 46, directs the loading of personal hygiene kits Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2008 for delivery to the Republic of Georgia. The Navy C-9, carrying approximately seven tons of humanitarian aid, arrived in Tbilisi. This shipment represents the first Navy asset to participate in the larger United States response to save lives and alleviate human suffering in Georgia.
