Capt. Humaira Masood, a dentist with the 379th Expeditionary Medical Group, reviews her patient's medical history prior to his examination. Senior Aircraftsman Connal Jones, 901st Expeditionary Air Wing, Royal Air Force, United Kingdom, reported to the clinic, Aug. 18, 2008, with recurring pain from wisdom teeth. Capt. Masood met with her patient at the new dental clinic in the Blatchford-Preston Complex, the first section of the new medical facility to open at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. Capt. Masood hails from New Haven, Conn., and is deployed from Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
