ASTORIA, Ore. - Senior Chief Petty Officer Carlos Herrera is saluted by Chief Petty Officer Ian Bauer during a retirement ceremony Friday, Apr. 9, 2010, at Air Station Astoria, honoring Herrera for his 30 years in the Coast Guard.
Herrera has been a qualified surfman since 2001 and has spent his entire career in the Pacific Northwest.
