Sgt. Atta K. Gyamfi, a motor vehicle operator with 1st Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 1, stretches before playing in the Marines versus Iraqi police soccer game at the Mulaab stadium in Ramadi, August 14, 2008. The Ramadi Soccer Tournament ended with a spirited hour and a half soccer game between the Marines and IPs. The IPs won the game 2-0, but according to Col. Hattim Hamid, the Mulaab Iraqi police chief, the final score was irrelevant as the game had a more momentous, symbolic meaning. "The game was entertaining but it really didn't matter who was victorious," Hattim said. "The only thing that mattered was that the Marines and Iraqi police came together as brothers and the city of Ramadi came together as one."
