    ALAMEDA, Calif.-- Petty Officer 1st Class Joe Cleary, a food service specialist assigned to the Coast Guard Cutter Fir, homeported in Astoria, Ore., rallies his fellow shipmates as they struggle in the West Coast Aids to Navigation Olympics, Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009. The tug-o-war competition was the last event of the West Coast ATON Olympics and consisted of teams from the cutters Fir, George Cobb, and Aspen.
