OXBOW, N.D. - In this photo by the U.S. Coast Guard, Chief Greg Zerfass, executive petty officer of Small Boat Station Marblehead, Ohio, conducts an informal situation brief, Wednesday, March 25, 2009.

The local eatery Knickerbockers opened its doors to the Coast Guard and other local agencies responding to the 2009 midwest floods.

"Working with other agencies during prior response efforts has enabled us to work efficiently with the local agencies here in North Dakota. I'm really impressed how we have all worked collaboratively on this response," said Zerfass.
