PACIFIC OCEAN -- Fireman Anthony Martinez, Petty Officer 1st Class Asher Thomas and Petty Officer 3rd Class Jayke Hooks, crewmembers on board Coast Guard Cutter BERTHOLF, secure the bridle to the recovery horn of the Long Range Interceptor (LRI). BERTHOLF's crew, along with a team from Coast Guard Headquarters and civilian contractors, are currently testing BERTHOLF's launch and recovery system in increasingly high seas to determine in what conditions the LRI can safely operate.
