(Sept. 8, 2008) SAN FRANCISCO - Vice Adm. David Pekoske, Coast Guard Pacific Area Commander, welcomes Commissioner George Da Pont, head of Canadian Coast Guard delegation, to the 9th North Pacific Coast Guard Summit, held here from September 8 to 12. The summit is held to foster multi-lateral cooperation on matters related to combined operations, illegal drug trafficking, maritime security, fisheries enforcement, illegal migration, and maritime domain awareness.
