Montauk, NY (June 8, 2008) -- At the annual Blessing of The Fleet a fast moving squall stranded a jet ski outside the breakwater. Station Montauk sent the 47' out to assist the Sheriff department and the police boat in the rescue. The weather went bad in several minutes. All ended well with minor damage to vessels and the
jet skier making it up on the jetty. Photos by Jim Mackin, USCGAUX.
