ANCHORAGE, Alaska (Aug. 14, 2008) -- Petty Officer First Class jeffrey Schnaffit, formerly of Air Station Sitka now at the Maritime Security Response Team, accepts the award for individual excellence for his efforts as a clinician in Sitka. Schnaffit improved the procedures for medical evacuations among other things. Vice Adm. David Pekoske, commander Pacific Area, resents the award with Rear Adm.
