SANTA CRUZ, Calif., (May 25, 2008) Billy M. Sorensen, a fightfighter from Coast Guard Training Center Petaluma, surveys damage from the Summit fire in the Santa Cruz mountains, and prepares to remove fire hazards away from homes which were spared by the blaze. The team from TRACEN Petaluma joined more than 3000 firefighters from throughout California to help battle the blaze which burned more than 4200 acres.
