FLORIDA STRAITS - Petty Officer 2nd Class Michael J. Tarhanich (HS2), a crewmember aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Resolute, a 210-foot ship home-ported in St. Petersburg, Fla., provides medical attention to an interdicted Cuban migrant. All migrants interdicted by the Coast Guard receive food, water and medical attention. During a 45-day patrol, Resolute crewmembers provided humanitarian aid to more than 100 interdicted migrants.
