An Aides to Navigation team wrestles a giant buoy -- nicknamed "Widowmaker" for its huge size and tendency to roll unpredictably on deck -- aboard the Coast guard Cutter Willow. Willow, home ported in Newport, Rhode Island, is responsible for and services 250 federal Aids to Navigation as well as National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration weather data collection buoys along the New England coast from Newport, Rhode Island to West Quoddy Head, Maine.
