LONG BEACH, Calif. (April 2, 2007)--Fireman Apprentice Sean Dumas call out, Heads up! as he throws over the heaving line to the second 41 foot motor life boat April 2. Dumas is working on becoming a qualified crewmember at Station Los Angeles/ Long Beach and part of that qualification is knowing what to do during a fire drill, a steering casualty, how to communicate a man overboard and rescue the person, how to anchor the boat, and how to tow another boat from the response boat.
