Col. Ted Martin, commander of the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, presents the Army Commendation Medal to Sgt. Wayne Galliher, an infantry team leader from Alexandria, Ohio. Martin awarded 25 "Regulars" Soldiers of the 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st BCT, 4th Inf. Div. Combat Infantryman Badges and five Soldiers with Army Commendation Medals for valorous actions in the face of enemy combat. The Soldiers of "Alpha Gator" work with Iraqi security forces daily to provide stability and security for the people of the Rashid District in southern Baghdad.
