Arabian Gulf (July 15)--SA Christopher M. Farr (right) breaks in SA Gregg J. Lavasseur on the duties of helmwatch on the bridge of the CGC Midgett (WHEC 721). The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Midgett departed homeport of Seattle Washington on June 18, 1999, to deploy with the USS Constellation Battle Group to the Persian Gulf. The Midgett is the first Coast Guard cutter to deploy to the Gulf with a U.S. Navy Battle Group.
