Kodiak, AK (Spet. 21)--Lt. Gen. Vladislav Prohoda (RFBS), Chief, Northest Region Directorate (NRD) toured the Coast Guard Cutter Ironwood (WLB 297) in Koiak, Alaska. Lt. Commander Joanna Nuna commanding officer of Ironwood, escorted the general and Admiral Thomas J. Barrett, Commander 17 Coast Guard District, around different areas of the ship explaining the vessel's operations. Prokhoda was impressed with the crews upkeep of more than 50 yearold buoytender.
