A Marine with 1st Platoon, Company A, 3rd Combat Engineer Battalion, Task Force 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5, uses heavy equipment to place a concrete barrier on the back of a 7-ton truck. Engineers have spent their combat deployment helping with force protection, the demilitarization of combat outposts and finding weapons caches along the Euphrates River. The engineers have moved more than 1,000 barriers during the combat tour and found weapons ranging from AK-47s to 120 mm artillery rounds.
