ALAMEDA, Calif., (Aug 28, 2006) Actor Kevin Costner praises an overflow crowd on Coast Guard Island during a visit to recognize local Coast Guard heroes and to promote the movie, "The Guardian." Costner was joined by Ashton Kutcher and film director Andrew Davis in thanking the Coast Guard for brave and courageous service. Both actors portray rescue swimmers in the movie.
