NEW ORLEANS (Aug. 30, 2005) - Survivors, pulled from their apartment building by a Coast Guard rescue swimmer, sit on the floor of an HH-65 Jayhawk rescue helicopter here today. In all, the Coast Guard rescued 11 survivors from the apartment building. Coast Guard rescue crews have been working to rescue individuals trapped in their homes in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
