HYANNIS, Mass. (Aug. 17, 2005)--A crew aboard an HH-60 jayhawk helicopter dropped flares into the waters around Bishop and Clerk Light off Hyannis, Mass. today. The crew was testing the wind before dropping a basket with a member of the Woods Hole Aids to Navigation team into the light to perform preventative maintenance. The winds were not ideal for the hoist and the Air Station was unable to carry out the mission. USCG photo by PA3 Kelly Newlin.
