The members of U.S. Coast Guard Patrol Forces Southwest Asia's Engineering Department are crucial to promoting the good working order of the ships operating in the Arabian Gulf in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. After the ships' crews return to port after a patrol, they are able to receive much needed time off as PATFORSWA's support teams care for the needs of the crews and ships.
