BAHRAIN (March 8, 2003)--Coast Guard Seaman Robert J. Grant, a native of Atlanta, looks out from the deck of the Coast Guard Cutter Adak, which is homeported out of Sandy Hook, NJ. The cutter Adak is one of four Coast Guard 110-foot patrol boats assigned to the Central Command area of operations, the first time Coast Guard patrol boats have been assigned to a potential theater of war since the Vietnam War.
