Spc. T.J. Mackiewicz, a St. Louis native, reads the inscription of a challenge coin while Command Sgt. Maj. Marvin Hill, a Memphis, Tenn., native who serves as the senior enlisted leader for Multi-National Force - Iraq, holds the coin July 26, 2008. The coin reads, in part, "For Excellence in Combat." Mackiewicz, who serves with Company C, 1st Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, which is currently attached to 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, was presented the coin during a ceremony at Combat Outpost Apache July 26 in northern Baghdad.
