Rear Adm. Russell S. Penniman, Reserve deputy commander and chief of staff for U.S. Pacific Fleet, addresses participants at the "Banquet of Honor" at a Returning Warrior Workshop held in Seattle Nov. 22-24. RWWs, first held in 2006, are held several times a year all across the United States and are part of the Department of Defense Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program. The program was designed to accelerate the reintegration of post-deployment service members with their families and communities by sharing their experiences with and listening to one another over the course of a weekend.
