Philippine Navy Capt. Vincent Trinidad, right, and U.S. Marine Lt. Col. Travis T. Gaines speak Nov. 18 at Tacloban, Republic of the Philippines. At the request of the Government of the Philippines, U.S. Armed Forces have been providing support to the Armed Forces of the Philippines as part of Operation Damayan following Typhoon Haiyan. The typhoon affected more than 4.2 million people and 36 provinces across the country. Trinidad is the airfield operations officer in charge of airborne operations at the Tacloban Air Field.
