Toyota Industries Shuttles Rugby Team Running Back, Mark Gerrard, from Australia presses 220 pounds during his exercise routine at the Torii Gym during a coordinated visit made possible by Yomitan Mayor, Denjitsu Ishimine, a former rugby player and a fan of the sport and Col. Sheila Bryant, commander, 10th Regional Support Group on Nov. 7. Approximately 40 players from the Shuttles visited Torii Station during their training camp on Okinawa to enhance bilateral relationships between the U.S. soldiers, family members as well as American and Japanese employees through sporting initiatives like rugby.
