    Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Mathew Waddel, from Umatilla, Oregon, load master for Naval Beach Unit (NBU) 7, directs the loading of a seven-ton truck aboard a Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC). The LCAC will deploy to USS Ashland (LSD 48) which is heading to Leyte Gulf in the Philippines in support of Operation Damayan.
