An international coalition of service members, at Camp Alamo, in Kabul, Afghanistan, honors those who died in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. The bell shown in the center of the courtyard was donated to the camp by a group of New York City police officers on the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. The post the bell is mounted on is rumored to have been amongst the wreckage of the attacks. The bell was recently donated to the Alamo in San Antonio, after Camp Alamo was transferred to the Afghan National Army. (Photo courtesy of Canadian Army)
