Gen. Mike Hostage receives a briefing at the Blood Transshipment Center at the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing in Southwest Asia, Nov. 11, 2013. The 379th Expeditionary Medical Group BTC is the hub for distributing blood products throughout the U.S. Air Forces Central Command area of responsibility. During his immersion, Hostage visited the Airman and Family Readiness Center, the BTC and the 71st Expeditionary Air Control Squadron. Hostage is the commander of Air Combat Command.
