Gen. Mike Hostage is shown the Blood Transshipment Center’s dry ice storage capability during an immersion at the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing in Southwest Asia. In addition to being the hub for blood and products through the AOR, the 379th Expeditionary Medical Group BTC is also responsible for supplying dry ice. During his immersion, Hostage visited the Airman and Family Readiness Center, the BTC and the 71st Expeditionary Air Control Squadron. Hostage is the commander of Air Combat Command.
