A Japan Maritime Self Defense Force Sailor looks through the "big eyes" while standing lookout watch aboard the Japan maritime Self Defense Force ship JDS Kirishima during Rim of the Pacific exercise 2008. RIMPAC is the world's largest multi-national exercise and is scheduled biennially by the U.S. Pacific Fleet. Participants include the U.S., Australia, Canada, Chile, Japan, Netherlands, Peru, Republic of Korea, Singapore and the United Kingdom.
