Reisinger earned the medal for her service with the Office of Security Cooperation while deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. While in Iraq she used Arabic language skills and cultural knowledge she learned in college to serve help her command beyond her own billets with the Office of Security Cooperation, Iraq. “Earning this award is humbling,” said Reisinger. “I used my knowledge and experience to help as much as I could.” Reisinger is a counterintelligence/human intelligence officer with 3rd Intelligence Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF.
