Chief Warrant Officer Paul Brown, a targeting officer assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division, completes a mini physical prior to donating blood during the unit's blood drive at Robertson Blood Center, at Fort Hood, Texas, Nov. 4. A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Brown stated he felt that donating blood was the right thing to do to help his fellow soldier. "I think we should do anything we can to help each other," said Brown. Donated blood reaches Afghanistan within seven days. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Angel Turner, 1st Cavalry Division PAO)
