Sgt. Anthony Sacramento, a Vallejo, Calif., native and watercraft engineer with the 481st Transportation Company (Heavy Boat) - Detachment 3, 371st Sustainment Brigade, 143rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), furnishes parts for his ship, landing craft utility 2016, the Corinth, here Nov. 2.The crew of the Corinth spent days transferring equipment and supplies from LCU 2018, the Five Forks, onto the Corinth. The crew also installed new equipment, already within the local fleet, onto the Corinth. The new exchange process is method which avoids approximately $50,000 in additional costs without reducing mission capability. The Five Forks will return to the U.S. for its six-month on condition cyclic maintenance and three- month service life extension program.
