U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Jacob Kurtz stands up after taking laying prone in the dirt at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, Oct. 24, 2013. Kurtz is assigned to the 729th Air Control Squadron who are currently in a mock deployment "Operation Raging Bull 14-1" which will help prepare the Airmen for future deployments. The deployment is held to help the airmen from setting up a base, to defense techniques and holding off enemy forces, all while still conducting their primary mission: being the eyes and ears over a combat theater.
