U.S. Marine Cpl. Jonathon M. Henney, Company F, 2nd Battalion, 24th Marines, Regimental Combat Team 1 observes citizens at an entry control point in Al Fallujah, Iraq on February 19. U.S. Marines with 2/24 are assisting Iraqi police in providing safety and security to the citizens of Al Fallujah. RCT-1 is deployed with Multi National Force-West in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar province of Iraq to develop Iraqi security forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic reforms, and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
