Chief Warrant Officer Raymond Smith, a native of Philadelphia and electronics maintenance facility officer in charge, assigned to Company B, 4th Support Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division -- Baghdad, checks a pair of PVS-7B night vision goggles ensuring the special electronics device is properly adjusted in accordance with the technical manual. The "Packhorse" Soldiers of the EMF Section are responsible for ensuring that the 4th Supt. Bn.'s NVGs are 100 percent funictional to ensure the unit's mission readiness while deployed to Forward Operating Base Falcon, in the Rashid District of southern Baghdad.
