Marines and sailors with Black Sea Rotational Force 14 look at Romanian soldier’s weapons after an opening ceremony which started off their training, Platinum Lynx in Bistrita, Romania, Oct. 7-12, 2013. Platinum Lynx helped with one of BSRF-14’s mission of assisting our partner nations in modernizing their armed forces. Black Sea Rotational Force 14 is a rotation of Marines to the Black Sea, Balkan and Caucasus regions to work with partner-nation militaries and increase interoperability and military capacity while further strengthening and maintaining mutually beneficial partnerships throughout the Eastern European region.
