Jacquelyn Sjoberg, a 35-year-old woman with cystic fibrosis, leads the 65 Miles for 65 Roses event at Mission Bay Park in San Diego, Oct. 12. Sjoberg was diagnosed with the disease at birth and continues to push for the support for research of cystic fibrosis in adults. Her husband, Maj. Jesse Sjoberg started the event in 2011 to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
