The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation assists the 65 Miles for 65 Roses this year with signs and banners at Mission Bay Park in San Diego, Oct. 12. The name of the event comes from the mispronunciation of cystic fibrosis as 65 roses that is commonly made by children. Maj. Jesse Sjoberg started the event in 2011 to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
