Janet McCheyne, daughter of eyewitness Janet McCheyne, reads her mother’s accounts Sept. 28, 2013, of the collision of two B-17 Flying Fortresses. The eyewitness was 17 years old at the time of the crash and had been riding by the crash site on her bicycle.
