Col. Paul Ryan, commanding officer, Headquarters and Service Battalion, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Commnad, leads his Marines on a six mile conditioning hike Sept. 27. The Marines were flown to Fort Stroy by CH-46 Sea Knight helicopters from Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 774. The Marines then followed up the hike with values based training, a barbeque and volleyball and bean bag toss.
