Members of the U.S. Army North (Fifth Army) Provost Marshal/Protection Directorate conduct a table-top discussion on force protection for Army North and their partner agencies, services and commands via video teleconference, Sept. 19, in the Army North main conference room. “We know we have a lot of tough choices to make,” said Col. Robert Burk, director for the Army North Provost Marshal/Protection Directorate. “We need to help those commanders [at the installations and bases] mitigate risks and give them a course of action to follow for the future.” The conference was in lieu of their annual force protection conference and was held in order to conduct a “deep dive” on the true Army FP posture within the U.S. Northern Command theater during the challenging times ahead.
