A member of Republic of Korea Special Task Force Counter-Terrorism Unit stands guard at the end of a stack during a Close Combat Quarters Battle exercise, March 4. U.S. SEALS spent the day training their South Korean counterparts on the proper way to tactically enter and secure a hostile building. Both U.S. and the ROK are taking part in Exercise Key Resolve/Foal Eagle 2008, an annual combined/joint exercise involving forces from both the U.S. and Republic of Korea. This exercise provides training to further enhance interoperability and combat readiness, while also demonstrating both countries commitment to the ROK/US alliance.
