Ambassador Peter Bodde from the U.S. Embassy in Nepal applauds the collaboration and dedication displayed throughout the Nepal Pacific Resilience Disaster Response Exercise & Exchange (DREE) during his closing ceremony remarks Sept. 12 in Kathmandu, Nepal. The DREE, co-hosted by the Nepalese army and U.S. Army Pacific, ran from Sept. 9-12, and was the first in Nepal to include a field training exercise designed to practically apply civil-military disaster preparedness and response initiatives when faced with a massive earthquake scenario.
