Participants in the Nepal Pacific Resilience Disaster Response Exercise & Exchange (DREE) conduct and after action reviewing following search and rescue operations during the second day of the exercise Sept. 10 in Kathmandu, Nepal. The DREE, co-hosted by the Nepalese army and U.S. Army Pacific, runs from Sept. 9-12, and it is the first in Nepal to include a field training exercise designed to practically apply civil-military disaster preparedness and response initiatives when faced with a massive earthquake scenario.
