Cpl. Jose I. Navarrette a metal worker with Maintenance Detachment, Combat Logistics Battalion 13, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, welds an amphibious assault vehicle 7's support arm together, while performing maintenance aboard USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) during his 2013 Western Pacific Deployment, Sept. 5. He spent the day shaving and welding aluminum to repair a six foot tear on the underside of an AAV-P7.
