Sailors and non-governmental organization personnel from the the Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy take vital signs from a Vietnamese woman during a medical civic assistance program. Mercy, anchored off the coast of Nha Trang, ison a five-month humanitarian cruise in support of Pacific Partnership 2008. The Pacific Partnership deployment to Vietnam continues to improve bi-lateral relations between the U.S. and Vietnam, demonstrating the two countries continued commitment to work together to address mutual issues and concerns.
