Vice Adm. Robin Braun, chief of Navy Reserve, thanks Culinary Specialist 3rd Class Duane Wilkinson, a New Orleans native assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 28, for the steak dinner prepared as a last cooked meal prior to NMCB 25 departing for field training. More than 1,000 Seabees assigned to NMCB 25 and 28 were tested and evaluated by Naval Construction Group 1 while training in “full mission profile” field exercises with contractors from Tatitlek, a realistic pre-deployment training and role-playing service.
